BREATHEGOOD: A Juneteenth Community Yoga Flow by WalkGood LA

Calling all Yogi Girlies! if you’ve been dwelling on finding community through wellness, now’s the time to take that leap girl! WalkGood LA is bringing BreatheGood, a community yoga experience, to the streets of South LA to celebrate Juneteenth. This is a FREE experience and BreatheGood will be part of the programming for the day for the 3rd annual Juneteenth celebration. Be sure to bring a friend!

Lava Night Market – 1 Year Anniversary

Yes you read that right, a flea market at night girl! In celebration of their 5th market this is a great night to dance to the c*ntiest DJ sets, get some free snacks and support small business of color. We encourage showing up early or ride sharing! Otherwise, there’s limited residential and street parking! Get tickets for $5 +fees.

Black on the Block Juneteenth 2023 Festival

Celebrating their Juneteenth Festival and 2 Year Anniversary Celebration on June 18th. With over 150+ Black-owned businesses and 30+ food vendors this is def you and the gang can have a time! Leimert Park Juneteenth Block Party

How can we not include the Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival, located in the historic Leimert Park Village featuring 300 Black owned businesses, three main stages, two DJs stages, and one spoken word stage and more fun activations! It is not just a market, but a curated experience featuring great food, drinks, music, art and culture, networking opportunities, and the best energy. Rideshare encourage bestie!

Street Food Cinema: “Do The Right Thing”

On sum Spike Lee ish! This Street Food features a wide range of films, gourmet food trucks and live music, Street Food Cinema presents a Juneteenth screening of Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing at Los Angeles State Historic Park in Downtown LA. There will be Vegan food by Nacho Me Vegan, Comfort food by Dilan’s Caribbean Gril, MexiBachi and more. Doors open at 5:30pm and leashed dogs are welcome!
